Featuring music chosen by Mark as well as general talk. Going to be released fortnightly by the usual channels (itunes and a RSS feed as well as directly from the site). Also on the site is a blog. It's great to see someone like Mark Hoppus getting behind podcasting.
Note: I listened in the car last night and was really impressed. I hope that this inspires other artists to jump on the podcast bandwagon.

Hardware: Seagate 200GB 7200RPM Hard Drive - $39.99 after $70 MIR
Seagate 200gig hard drive for $39.99 after rebates. Not as good as the $30 drive from last week, but still a damn good deal. 5 year warranty.
Note: Prices are really coming down on storage. My recommendation is to buy as much as you can whenever you can. You can always put drives in external enclosures if you run out of room internally.

Mac News: Video of AMD processor running OS X x86!
Apple has finally come out with a two-button mouse. Amazingly, someone has already posted a review of the new Apple Mighty Mouse including lots of pictures.
Note: I used the "Mighty Mouse" today and I liked it. I especially liked the scroll knob. The mouse I'm using now I like, but if it dies, I would consider getting the new Mighty one.

New Addition To The Page
I have added a a new section along the right hand side of the page. It's a news ticker from Digg News. Digg.com is a user based news page. All the news on its home page is user-determined by "digging" or voting for an item. It's a fun and informative site that is rapidly gaining popularity on the net. Go give it a look.

Mac Tip: How to create a vodcast
Podcasts are so last month. If you want to get in on the hip trip, you'll turn your attention (and camcorder) to vodcasts. Video-On-Demand-casts, that is. By following the steps I'm about to outline you can create and distribute a downloadable vodcast today.
Note: I'm becoming a big fan of vodcasts. I'll list links to my favorites in the next week or so.

Mac Tip: Speed up Safari
Here's a way you can speed up Safari by changing the rendering delay.
After changing the rendering delay to something really low, Safari feels far more responsive on my system.
Tip: try "defaults write com.apple.Safari WebKitInitialTimedLayoutDelay -float 0.0001" to speed up Safari even more.

Mac App: Shiira...A Great New Browser
I just found out about this browser today and I must say that I'm really impressed. I like the fact that it can use the Firefox and Safari bookmarks without having to physically import them. Go check this out and tell me what you think.
Recommended Site: FindSounds.com
With FindSounds you can search the entire web for sound effects, musical instrument samples, etc.. It works just like Google, but only returns sound files - especially efficient when working on media projects where you need a specific sound. It's filtered, so no junk or porn... and it's FREE.
